We offer a peer-to-peer travel money platform (iOS, Android and web) enabling travellers to swap currencies directly with each other – avoiding banks and corporates allowing us to offer the best rates on travel money. The candidate

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Product Manager to work within our exciting New Products team. The role will be central to delivering our brand-new business product ensuring that we meet our aggressive growth and revenue targets in 2018.

As a core member of the Product team, you will work within an agile, cross-functional team of developers, QA testers and UI/UX designers to deliver high quality software across our iOS, Android, Web and Back-end tech stack. You will provide insight and direction throughout the full product lifecycle, and define the requirements of the product by working closely with key stakeholders across the business – initially focusing on business travellers.

A successful candidate will have a proven track record for delivering high quality solutions and launching new products for both B2B and B2C customers, from concept through to release and iteration. We are looking for an individual with the necessary balance of creativity, tact and pragmatism to drive significant change to both KPIs and new revenues.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prioritisation of the team’s work based on the New Product business roadmap and customer & stakeholder feedback
  • Definition and analysis of new business processes and customer journeys as part of brand new revenue streams for WeSwap
  • Creation and documentation of product requirements and specifications
  • Responsibility for the product and influence in its direction – including ownership of the product and sprint backlog
  • Planning and managing the Alpha and Beta testing phases and release to the customer
  • Monitoring of performance of the product against key business KPIs
  • Working closely and communicating effectively with the sales, marketing, customer service and finance teams to gather requirements and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Providing direction to the cross-functional scrum team
  • Monitoring of competitor products to ensure WeSwap remains at the forefront of technology

Experience

  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the conception, definition, delivery, review and iteration of B2B and B2C products
  • A history of working as part of an agile technology development team
  • Skills in business process mapping, customer journey mapping and requirement gathering
  • Experience in releasing products to consumers through internal and external testing phases
  • Experience in product backlog prioritisation and data-driven decision making
  • Experience of stakeholder management and working with sales & marketing teams
  • Demonstrable experience in leading or being part of a team that has launched a commercial product with clear targets & KPIs
